Bob the Builder Games site is proud to present Bob the Builder, who is a British children’s stop motion television character created by Keith Chapman, and was first aired in the UK in 1999 and is now broadcast in over 240 territories and in 45 languages. It can be seen in the UK on BBC2, CBeebies and Nick Jr.

In the original series Bob the Builder appears as a building contractor specialising in masonry in a stop motion animated programme with his colleague Wendy, various neighbours and friends, and their gang of anthropomorphised work-vehicles and equipment (all made of clay), Bob the Builder is voiced by British actor Neil Morrissey.

In each episode, Bob the builder and his gang help with renovations, construction, and repairs and with other projects as needed. The show emphasizes conflict resolution, co-operation, socialization and various learning skills. Bob’s catchphrase is “Can we fix it?”, to which the other characters respond with “Yes we can!”. This phrase is also the title of the show’s theme song, which was a million-selling number one hit in the UK.

The main character in any Bob the Builder is :

* Bob the Builder – himself .– He is a construction worker and head of his own construction yard. He is the namesake of the show and also its main character. Some of the problems in the show arise from Bob the Builder’s habit of forgetting to turn his mobile phone on. He is the owner of Pilchard the Cat.

* Wendy – Bob the Bulder’s business partner who runs the office and keeps the business in order, and often organizes tools and equipment. She is also seen doing construction work in many episodes. An underlying romantic tension between Bob and Wendy is hinted at in several episodes.

* Farmer Pickles – a nearby farmer who sometimes helps out with Bob’s projects.

* Scoop – a yellow backhoe loader. Scoop is the leader of the machines. (male voice; catchphrase: “No prob, Bob!”)
* Muck – a red bulldozer with additional dumping bed. Muck often acts before he (or she in US dub) thinks and often gets in trouble for it. (male voice; female voice in US and JAP dub; catchphrase: “Muck to the rescue!”)
* Dizzy – an orange concrete mixer. Dizzy is portrayed as the youngest in the yard. She is eager, curious, and easily excitable. (female voice; catchphrase: “Brilliant!”)
* Roley – a green steamroller (male voice; catchphrase: “Rock and roll!”)
* Lofty – a blue crane. Lofty lacks the confidence shown by the others; he is hesitant and timid, but with the encouragement of the team comes through in the end. (male voice; female voice in current US and JAP dub; catchphrase: “Uh … yeah, I think so!”, usually said in response to the question “Can we fix it?”)
* Benny – a magenta excavator. Benny looks up to Scoop. (female voice; catchphrase: “Unreal, banana peel!” in reference to Scoop’s yellow color)
* Scrambler – a dark blue quadbike (ATV). Scrambler was won by Bob for designing Sunflower Valley’s new settlement. (male voice; catchphrases: “Let’s Scram!”, “Awesome!” and “Cool as a Mule”)
* Sumsy – a maroon and yellow striped forklift who greatly resembles Trix (may be the same model, explaining her absence in Project Build-It forklift. Sumsy is owned by Farmer Pickles. (female voice; catchphrase: “I can pack ‘em, I can stack ‘em!”)
* Packer – a red semi-trailer truck. Packer is owned by Farmer Pickles and has two trailers, a flatbed and a covered trailer. (male voice; catchphrases: “Pick up and Deliver!” and “Pack me up and watch me go-go”)
* Dodger – a light blue and white pickup truck. Dodger is owned by Meg and is used to carry milk. He has a crane with a grabber that lifts the milk. His horn makes honking sounds. (male voice; catchphrase: “Dodger Delivers”)
* Tumbler – a green and yellow concrete transport truck. (male voice; catchphrase: “I’m a Rumblin’ and a Tumblin’”)
* Flex – a yellow cherry picker. (male voice; catchphrase: “Fantastic Flex!”)
* Bristle – a grey and blue street sweeper. Bristle is very eager to help out the others by doing jobs often ahead of the team. (male voice; catchphrase: “Clean as a whistle” or “Clean as a whistle bristle, that’s me!)
* Splasher – a yellow & blue amphibious car, who works at Bobland Bay. (male voice; catchphrase: “Never fear, Super Splasher is here!”)
* Travis – a cyan tractor. Travis is owned by Farmer Pickles, and is often seen pulling a wood sided trailer. He helps out the crew when they need it and keeps an eye on Spud the scarecrow.
* Skip – a yellow skip-carrier. (male voice)
* Trix – a purple forklift. Skip belongs to J.J. (female voice; catchphrase: “Easy peasy!”)
* Scoot – a black and yellow snowmobile. Scoot is owned by Tom. (male voice)
* Zoomer – a purple snowmobile. (male voice; seen in ‘Snowed Under’)
* R.Vee – a light blue work truck. R.Vee belongs to Robert, Bob’s Dad. (male voice; catchphrase: “Amazing R.Vee, that’s me!”)
* Jackaroo – a blue pickup truck. Jackaroo is owned in the Wild West by a cowgirl.
* Gripper – a brown and green crane. (catchphrase: “Gripper and Grabber having fun together”)
* Grabber – a green and brown excavator. (catchphrase: “Grabber and Gripper having fun together”)
* Scratch – a blue small digger. (catchphrase: “I’m part of the team”)
